Your checklist for stay in hospital
A spell of hospitalization will always cause a certain amount of agitation and anxiety: agitation due to the impending medical measures and anxiety with regard to your health.
We do know about these discomforting factors, and therefore, we have provided the following list to facilitate your preparations for the time of your hospitalization.
Please, do not forget the following documents:
- Medication schedule and anticoagulant card (Marcumar information card)
- certificate of vaccination, allergy information card (if any)
- proof of insurance of your National Health Insurance Service or insurance, health insurance card
- all medical documents of relevance (e.g. radiographic images etc.) which you keep at home
- identification, passport, admission to the hospital
- small amount of cash money for own contribution, refund (required for the patient's chip card), phone-calls or when intending to visit our cafeteria or the little shop
Personal essentials:
- Pyjama or nightdress
- comfortable clothing e.g. track suit
- robe, bathrobe, or shell suit
- undergarments
- slippers or non-skid sport shoes
- toiletries such as comb, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo
- towels, washcloths
- something to read/write
- denture users: denture bowl and suitable care products
- if applicable: spectacles with case, contact lenses and articles for contact lens hygiene
Objects of value may be deposited with the patient admission on the ground floor. However, we do recommend that you do not bring any articles of great value. We also recommend bringing only small amounts of money with you.
